**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., Inc., is seeking a Systems Engineer intern to perform a variety of systems engineering tasks to an assigned project concept development task by following the guidance and direction of engineering management and staff. Duties include systems engineering research, team coordination and communication up to lead level, requirements review, documentation development and review (internal and external) at an iterative- or phase- approach, and final presentation to internal engineering and management, and government customers.  This position is located in Cocoa Beach, Florida and approved for Remote work but will require on-site travel to the Cocoa Beach office as needed and occasional CONUS travel pending government and company mandates. Formal academic coursework at an accredited university toward a STEM-based Bachelors or Master’s degreeA minimum of 6 months experience Space Research experienceUnderstanding of the system development life cycle (SDLC) activities with a focus on the project concept/objectives phase.Mid level skills of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Basic skills (or ability and interest to learn) with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project) and team collaboration software (e.g., WebEx, SharePoint).Ability to facilitate (schedule and lead meetings), coordinate, and integrate inputs from a variety of human and technical sourcesGood communication skills to express understanding of directions and the ability to perform. Good writing skills in order to prepare documentation, reports, and presentations.Ability to apply existing knowledge and skillsets based on formal education and general work experiences, and aptitude to self-learn along the way.Adapt to meet schedules and task expectations.ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN•    Pursuing degree in Aerospace Engineering•    Previous Intern Experience#LI-TL1The Aerospace Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Division is based in Cocoa Beach, Fla., with facilities and capabilities in Colorado Springs, Colo., El Segundo, Calif., and Orcutt, Calif.
