Job Description : Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced Computer Network Defense Analyst supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and Special Operations Forces Missions Program. The selected candidate shall execute in real time, in accordance with mission requirements, incident handling, triage of events, network analysis and threat detection, trend analysis, metric development, vulnerability information dissemination, and the DoD CNDSP methodology.The individual will work as part of the IA team, focused on cybersecurity / information assurance (IA) in maintaining a RMF compliant environment. The candidate must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment, research and evaluate tools, standards and technologies, and provide support for proposing, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies.General Responsibilities• Intrusion incident analysis• Incident, event, and mission impact determination/escalation/prioritization• Data entry into incident management and tracking database• Coordination of incident and event feedback to customers• Incident-event-network outage correlationBasic Qualifications- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks- Effective oral and written communication skills- Ability to analyze, produce, and disseminate analytical cyber threat products that assist in identifying threats, priorities, severities, and IA risk mitigation measures- Certifications: DoD 8570.01 IAT Level III and CSSP Analyst or CSSP Incident Responder Certifications- Ability to perform data analysis, aggregation, event correlation and information security threat definition- Ability to engage with cyber intelligence analyst counterparts across the US Intelligence and Law Enforcement communities- Knowledge of security concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.), well-known ports (DNS, SMTP, FTP, LDAP, etc.), processes, architectures, and tools (authentication and access control technologies, intrusion detection, network traffic analysis, incident handling, media/malware analysis, etc.)Desired skillsThe ideal candidate will have experience in:- Knowledge of adversary activities in cyberspace with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)- Strong familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity as well as indicators of compromise- Experience working in a Security Operations Center or Computer Network Defense organization- Experience with analyzing network traffic for suspicious and malicious activity using tools such as Wireshark (or equivalent) for packet capture analysis- Experience and effective participation in hunt, computer network defense, real-time analysis and incident response activities, to include ability to reconstruct events from network, endpoint, and log dataAs a leading technology innovation company, Lockheed Martin's vast team works with partners around the world to bring proven performance to our customers' toughest challenges.
