Responsible for managing a team of systems engineers and executing F-35 Data Quality & Integration Management (DQIM) systems engineering tasks. Responsible for DQIM team performance of requirements management, design and analysis, integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment. Must have technical proposal experience skills, development of integrated schedules and then performing and monitoring progress against them. Position requires strong team leadership, administrative, communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Effective training and development of staff, recruiting of required high-end talent, growth of tool capabilities, performance management and assessment, employee career development, and compensation\/promotion\/awards planning are aspects of the position. Ability to foster relationships with external customers and internal counterparts is required. Works extensively with counterparts in logistics and software engineering, Chief Engineer's organization, and the program office. Previous Engineering Management\/Leadership experience is required. Basic Qualifications Strong Systems Engineering knowledge, Team Leadership, Full Spectrum Leadership, Requirements Analysis, Sound Planning Skills, LM RMS Process Knowledge, Strong Interpersonal Skills, Outstanding Communicator, Data integration Experience Desired skills *Strong background or appropriate training in system engineering and project management to include: - Metric development and calculations - Clear understanding of F-35 Data Quality & Integration Management issues - Strong understanding of U.S., Partner and FMS aviation maintenance concepts\u2014at both the unit-and intermediate levels of maintenance - Proven background of effectively managing and leading people in a fast pace environment - Familiarity with F-35 ALIS applications BS or MS in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering.
