A growing company with a location in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a qualified lead avionics technician.The lead avionics technician will be responsible to ensure that tasks assigned are carried out in accordance with Repair Station Manual procedures and manufacturer specifications. Duties include: performing avionics troubleshooting and repair for a variety of aircraft including Citations, Gulfstreams, Challengers, Falcons, Hawkers, and Pilatus aircrafts while also leading a team of 1-2 additional avionics technicians. Repair duties will include (but not be limited to) auto pilot, navigation systems and cabin entertainment. The lead avionics technician will complete minor install projects, maintain shop equipment \/ tooling and perform other related duties.The most qualified avionics technician will have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience performing avionics troubleshooting and repairs on corporate turbine powered business jets and prior experience working in a lead or lead type position. The most qualified avionics technician will have experience interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics and experience stripping, splicing and crimping wires and coaxial cables. This is a full time position offered Monday through Friday on the day shift.Similar positions are available in the San Diego area and in Van Nuys, CA.
