Job Description : This position supports our Field Team Operations (FTO) Programs in Greenville, SC. The position reports to the FTO Logistics Program Manager and interfaces across internal functional lines and also with customer counterparts on programs and project status. The Associate Manager will work with the Logistics Program Manager to manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition\/disciplinary actions. Insures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Insures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Monitors the building of relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Oversees the integration of learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. The position will collaborate with Customer organizations and interface directly with them to address questions, concerns and issues. This position involves significant domestic and may include occasional international travel. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree with 8 years related experience; or 12 years related experience in aviation logistics and Sustainment \/ Supply Chain Management without a Bachelor's Degree \u2022 U.S. Government military Depot Support Operations experience \u2022 Experience inventory and warehouse management techniques and operations \u2022 Experience maintaining strong business relationships with external customers and across internal organizations. \u2022 Must be proficient with Microsoft; Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Desired skills Experience withf Aircraft\/Aviation Kitting operations \u2022 Commercial aviation supply chain management operations experience \u2022 Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) \u2022 Experience with aircraft component repair cycle management; repairs process, tracking, expediting, Mission Capable (MICAP) management, transportation management. \u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Project \u2022 Experience with Earned Value Management systems. \u2022 Experience decomposing customer requirements into an executable work breakdown structure. \u2022 Experience developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) and detailed Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in response to customer Requests for Quote (RFQs) \u2022 Experience with proposal preparation \u2022 Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills \u2022 Active Secret Security Clearance As a leading technology innovation company, Lockheed Martin\u2019s vast team works with partners around the world to bring proven performance to our customers\u2019 toughest challenges.
