Description: This position is contingent upon Sikorsky winning the USAF UH-1N Replacement Contract in 3Q2018. This is a Program Quality Manager Position supporting the HH-60U Huey Replacement Program (HRP) located in Shelton, CT. The QM will be expected to communicate between team members, management and customer counterparts to provide program quality assurance of contractual and specification requirements. In this role, the QM will:•Manage and maintain Program Quality Plan; responsible for production program quality activities to include participation in program reviews and presentations.•Oversees collaborations with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place; Interact with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and suppliers.•As part of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) initiatives such as FRCAS/SIR/PQMT events support Product Quality investigations. •Manage Quality deviations/non-conformances at different levels within the organization, customer and DCMA; manage efforts to perform root cause and corrective action activity on both manufactured and supplier parts; work with Engineering IPT for design improvement recommendation based on RRCA.•Responsible for engineering required quality reviewed of engineering changes such as EI, EC, and Red Lines drawings.•As a Program Quality CAM managed all quality budgets for both Production and In Service support.•Requires travel to program and supplier locations. •Responsible for all contract QA CDRL deliverables.Desired Skills: Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality, Aerospace or related field requiredWorking knowledge of various Sikorsky Quality functions such as supplier quality, product quality, operations quality and quality management system.Must have interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customersMust be organized and detail oriented, have ability to multi-task in a matrix reporting structure. Be an effective communicator, demonstrate leadership characteristics, and be solutions oriented.Experience on Sikorsky aircraft development programs and understanding of engineering, operation, and Quality assurance processes.Experience or understand aircraft log books documentation and experience working with logs and records.Experience working with aircraft preservation, maintenance, flight operations and component overhaul activities.Experience or knowledge in dealing with H-60 models. Resource management skills and EV management.Knowledge of AS9100 Quality systems Basic Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, manufacturing and aircraft maintenance experience and:Possess ability to understand and communicate typical engineering and manufacturing concepts and processesHave knowledge and experience of inspection processes and methods, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering technical data requiredWorking knowledge of various Sikorsky Quality functions such as supplier quality, product quality, operations quality and quality management system.Travel Requirements: 10% Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
