This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. Essential Functions : The role of the Cross Program Manager includes being responsible for all facets of test planning and execution in multiple areas to include; scheduling assets, STE training/proficiency requirements are met, test event preparation and execution. The candidate develops, directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules to execute ground testing. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations for planning, executing and reporting on Air Vehicle and Mission Systems flight test status to the SIT&E Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads. He/she will have frequent contact with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning operations, scheduling or specific phases of the test program. The candidate must be able to balance customer contractual needs and requirements while developing solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. SITEAS Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5 plus years in aerospace with BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering. Must have active in scope DoD interim secret clearance. Must have systems test experience in a lab or on aircraft. Must be ableu00a0to support extended shifts and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering. Systems test experience on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platforms. Acceptance testing on aircraft systems such as: Avionics, Fuels, Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Navigational, Sensors, and Propulsion. Previous leadership experience preferred.
