NESCO Resource is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client in South East Tucson, Arizona. Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector who will inspect parts, assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications. The incumbent will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products and record quality results. This position will report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Job Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of complex and difficult electromechanical inspections in the production/assembly process through final system assembly Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials Performs complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources Conducts first article inspection of parts, assemblies, equipment and tooling Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Four years of related experience with quality inspection and/or combination of education and experience Two years of quality inspection experience working in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field from a four-year accredited college or university ASQ Certification Ability to read and interpret blueprints/mechanical drawings GD&T experience (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolarencing) CMM Inspection/Programming experience (Coordination Measurement Machine) Quality inspection experience in the aerospace industry Working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel Ability to use equipment, such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, component testers and the like Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience using an ERP System, preferably JDE, SAP or MRP Strong organizational skills For immediate consideration apply now and/or contact me directly: Joe Buxenbaum at 520-319-1011.
