Description: This position is to lead the Infrared Search and Track (IRST) and Legion Pod subcontract / supply chain team through both development, production, and sustainment activities. This individual will be responsible for managing a highly dynamic and motivated team of Subcontract Managers and Procurement Representatives, as well as responsible for Program and Functional management activities. In addition, the individual will support supplier negotiations and will be responsible for the program's challenging affordability and cost reduction activities.The IRST and Legion Pod programs are highly dynamic and experiencing unprecedented growth by winning key programs and competitions. With an established and ever growing supply based around the world, this Supply Chain professional will work with the some of the leading suppliers in the Aerospace industry to manager cost, schedule, and quality in order to achieve flawless product deliveries to both new production and fielded sensors.The candidate will be responsible for managing a motivated team with experienced and new professionals and ensuring career development and coaching of team members. The candidate will be accountable for variety of metrics and developing presentation materials for both Line of Business and Supply Chain functional meetings and reviews. IRST has multiple earned value programs so individual will have Control Account Manager (CAM) duties.The position directly supports the IRST and Legion Pod programs, but also supports a variety of functional reporting activities and requires a high level of interaction with multiple functional individuals, suppliers, and leadership at all levels (internal and external) to resolve issues.Travel is required as necessary.Desired Skills: Well organized, excellent communicator and team builderAbility to close complex negotiations and increase value to organizationAble to work closely with suppliers and subordinates and have the ability to work with all levels of management and present data proficiently to executive leadership. Must have good computer skills to develop presentations, ability to handle complex situations effectively and efficiently, multitask and prioritize work scope. Subcontract Management experienceDemonstrated understanding of interdependencies and management of the program integrated master schedule, risk and opportunities, technical, customer relationship, and cost-including Earned Value Management as a cost account manager (CAM). Basic Qualifications: Must be proficient in Truth and Negotiations Act (TINA), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR/DFAR) guidelines, and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policy (LMAP). Must have the ability to negotiate contracts to closure and give detailed status of negotiations in process.Development of program assessments and root cause and corrective actions. Must be able to manage a very diverse team of production, development, and sustainment and integration personnel. Must be able to lead a team of skilled Subcontract Managers and Supply Chain professionals and be able to train others and develop employees into leaders.
