PTC Training Operations Support Manager â€“ Management and Oversight of: PTC IT Operations, ALIS Data Base/OMS Administrators, PTC and all Squadron Schedulers, PTC Registrars, Pilot Simulator Technicians, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, Facility Maintenance Technician, and the Spares & Property Custodian Clerk. Requires some weekend on-site requirements to assist with maintenance and operations that are unable to be conducted during normal work hours due to Training Requirements.
Provides two shift IT operations in support of unclassified and classified pilot classroom training.
Additionally, this position will have collateral duties such as scheduling, evaluations and standardization, simulator technician or IT. Oversees two shift operations supporting 6 Pilot Training Devices 10 hours of operation/day and an additional 4 hours of Preventative Maintenance/day. Provides direct oversight and coordination of the Beaufort PTC Training Systems and technicians. Oversees logistic support of the Beaufort PTC Full Mission Simulators.
As the Training Operations Support Manager, managers and oversees:
â€¢ IT maintenance of the Training Management System (TMS) and Learning Management System (LMS), responding to trouble calls, updating configuration based on received Modification Kits and perform preventative maintenance.
â€¢ Scheduling of resources to support the daily Pilot Training at MCAS Beaufort PTC. Oversees and conducts weekly coordination meetings to support two shift operations in support of formal training. Oversees Registrar in-processing and out-processing Students at the PTC utilizing the TMS.
â€¢ Oversees two shift operations supporting 6 Pilot Training Devices 10 hours of operation/day and an additional 4 hours of Preventative Maintenance/day. Provides direct support for Modification Kit Installation and Joint Program Office/Service Simulator Evaluation events.
â€¢ Logistic support of the Beaufort Full Mission Simulators, Shipping and Receiving activities, and incoming material for FMS Spares Equipment.
â€¢ Oversees facility operations conducting, coordinating, and supporting government maintenance on Facility Systems and responding to PTC Trouble Calls.
Familiarity with aviation simulator training operations and military training operations. Familiarity with F-35 Training System architecture, implementation, and operations. Strong systems engineering background.
Demonstrated experience managing, operating, and maintaining F-35 Pilot Training Systems. Experience leading a small and growing team in a field operations setting. Demonstrated background with problem/incident management. Familiar background with hardware / software change management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work unsupervised towards program goals. Ability to obtain F35 Program special access. Willingness to travel (generally
