You will be supporting mission critical systems directly related to protecting our country. The ideal candidate is conscientious, highly organized, and committed to the mission. Responsibilities include the following: Manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties Tracking, logging, verifying and reporting via SAP and Outlook Support implementation of new transportation management system; become site subject matter expert Follow shipping practices and procedures (eg DOT, HAZMAT), and transportation routing, schedules and requirements Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, and equipment Verifies quantity, weight, conformance of materials, and damage to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents Posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinationsQualifications:Basic Qualifications: High School diploma and 4 years of work experience2 years experience with shipping / receivingFamiliar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and email systemsMust be a US citizen and able to achieve a Top Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications: Prior SAP experienceNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
