This position is with our Flight Sciences Aircraft Performance team located in Ft Worth Texas. Analyze all phases of aircraft performance including mission performance, combat performance, basing performance, STOVL mode performance, and ship suitability performance. Candidates should have experience in or, at a minimum, an understanding of aircraft performance methods and factors driving aircraft performance calculations. Candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter. This position may require occasional travel.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-BS in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience and background in flight mechanics, aircraft performance with fighter aircraft
- Experience with all MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
-An understanding or experience with aircraft performance analysis, flight test data analysis, and aircraft basing analysis.
-Experience with Python programming skills are desirable.
