This position is for a Program Planning Manager Associate to lead Program Planners at Eastern Range (Cape Canaveral, FL) in a unique and challenging environment on the FBM Program. This position is responsible for providing program planning support to FBM Product lines and reports to the FBM Program Planning Manager. This position will provide direction for all planning and scheduling activities, including creating top-level program schedules that integrate hand-off requirements between FBM projects. The Program Planning Manager Associate will perform verification and validation of large portions of the FBM Program and its individual projects. This position will manage Project\/Program problem resolution when required and escalate necessary items and emerging issues to the FBM Program Planning Manager. Partner with Integrated Program Office and Product Line teams to provide first-class planning support. This position will interface with government customer, DCMA, and LM FBM leadership including conducting briefings and leading schedule meetings. This position will be expected to champion FBM Program and project metrics and identify trends or impacts, review Project SRA's CDRLs and determine all high and medium risk mitigation tasks are in the IMS, and evaluate planning tools to standardize method for reporting status across FBM projects. This position will prepare briefings and status for management and customer reviews, review and approve CDRL items, DID requirements, and WADS. This position will serve as a key member to Program Baseline Review Boards (PBRB), Program Proposal Review Boards (PPRB), BCB (Baseline Control Board - Finance), ROMs, What-if exercises, fact finding and internal\/external audits (Corporate, Division, Customer). This position will ensure compliance with planning documents on new projects are established, and is responsible for understanding and interpreting all requirements which apply to the execution of FBM planning (internal, contractual, customer, SSC, etc). This position will ensure program planning integration across the Enterprise and the FBM Program. This position will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition\/disciplinary actions. This position will be held accountable to counsel and mentor assigned employees, provide leadership, direction, guidance and assistance to ensure communication & coordination to multi-disciplined teams. The Program Planning Manager Associate will be responsible to organize \/ integrate high performance teams and to inspire \/ motivate employees to perform productively in a team environment, and to establish and communicate organization vision and goals. Basic Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited college\/university Team leadership experience Solid experience with planning major projects from concept (Project Introduction) through delivery (Project -Implementation) Experience with two or more planning tools (example, -Microsoft Project, RTP, Primavera) Experience presenting to Sr. Manager \/ Director or equivalent level Experience leading critical path and float analysis at the program level Leadership skills and behaviors that align to Full -Spectrum Leadership imperatives Desired skills -Strong understanding of the application of ANSI\/EIA 748-C -Strong understanding of LM Corporate and SSC PPM -Strong understanding and experience delivering to DI-81861 requirements -Experience driving planning health metrics -MS office tool proficiency. -Experience leading virtual sites -FBM experience.
