Profile

Scope:

This position will be the Strategic Finance Business Partner for the BU President.

This position can be located at any of these TTM sites: Syracuse, NY or Stafford, CT or Sterling, VA

Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as financial advisor to BU President and Peers on all financial matters related to the BU

Act on behalf of BU President as required – to include leveraging delegation of authority as appropriate

Drive critical thinking for all investment activity resulting in comprehensive ROI business cases, go/no-go recommendations, and trackable financial returns in execution Engineering IRAD in coordination with engineering leadership

CapEx investment recommendations in coordination with COO and Operations

Drive business performance Lead regular business reviews

Monitor KPIs

Help business to achieve P&L goals

Identify risks and opportunities

Drive the business to achieve superior asset/balance sheet utilization

Continuous identification of opportunities to improve/grow the business

Provide over site on key NPI, Business Capture, and Market evaluations and decision making Chair large opportunity business development reviews

Chair NPI evaluations and go/no-go recommendations

Coordinate the Sales, BD, and Engineering evaluation of markets and growth strategies

Manage strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes

Customer interface in support of growth objectives in coordination with Sales/BD Financial modeling and pricing strategy discussions

Negotiation strategy development and implementation

Act on behalf of BU President as required

Support/evolve product/service pricing strategy, models, and processes

M&A Lead the financial vetting of M&A opportunities

Estimate impact on company results and stock (ROI, etc.)

Present financial projections to Board

Oversee internal financial reporting for the BU

Present BU financial performance to the Executive Management

Oversee CAS reporting process

Ability to understand and communicate with manufacturing operations Costing methods

Cost/quality/delivery performance and business impacts

Supply chain strategy

Delivery prioritization impacts to include understanding longer term customer reaction and impact

Partner with executive staff to provide business decision support Provide finance training to non-finance management

Advise management on the financial implications of alternative actions

Bring to management’s attention issues that need to be addressed

Education and Experience:

Business Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred

15 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in senior management

Aerospace and Defense industry experience

M&A experience

Manufacturing experience with the ability to understand operations and related challenges

Demonstrated experience in driving operating cash flow

Demonstrated ability to influence business leadership

Proven track record driving sustainable, profitable growth and developing objective business cases

Export Statement:

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. b) Reinforce to all employees the commitment of TTM management to abide by all US Export laws and regulations. c) Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL). d) Support Export Compliance Officers and others in their efforts to ensure compliance with the Corporate Export policies through implementation and enforcement of these procedures, provide training to all facilities and departments and support periodic audits as required. e) Provide feedback to Corporate Export Compliance Office for continuous improvement of procedures and overall Export Compliance program.
