This position has both functional and program responsibilities. Functional responsibilities include: Employee coaching and development Employee performance evaluations Timecard approval Special assignments in support of the functional home room Program responsibilities include: Support to Palmdale personnel requiring weekly travel to Palmdale. Forecasting staffing and test resource utilization Direction and oversight for data acquisition and control of structural, thermal, and dynamic tests at the component, subsystem, and system level Participation in various reviews (design, test readiness, pre-ship, etc.) Test procedure and report writing Design and development of new/upgraded data acquisition systems. This role requires a broad skill set in the areas of digital data acquisition, sensors, instrumentation, and applications programming.
