Job Description : Oversee execution of reliability and system safety activities for the F-35 EOTS Program. Manage Specialty Engineering personnel in execution of reliability tasks including FRACAS, failure review boards\/corrective actions, Reliability predictions, FMECAs, Diagnostics development and effectively analysis, maintainability, HALT, accelerated aging, reliability qualification testing and BIT demonstrations. Provide status on FRACAS activities as part of monthly Program and Supplier CABs. Coordinate system safety efforts for execution of tasks including system and S\/W safety hazard analyses. Present specialty engineering status at Program reviews. As an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. For the management and development of their team, the E&T manager is responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions. Basic Qualifications -US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance. -Must have experience managing technical projects \/ personnel. -Experience\/ understanding of the principles and requirements for the following specialty engineering tasks: \u2022 Reliability predictions \u2022 FMECA analysis \u2022 FRACAS process \u2022 Diagnostic analysis \u2022 Maintainability analysis \u2022 System\/Subsystem Hazard analysis \u2022 Fault Tree analysis -Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software products. -Proficient with technical presentations to senior management. -Agile thinker and executor able to move from a strategic level to the implementation level in interactions with multiple audiences and groups. Desired skills -Active Secret Security clearance with an investigation in the past 5 years. -Reliability Test experience. -Reliability Growth experience. -Experience in managing technical personnel highly desired. -Earned value management (EVMS\/CAM) experience desired. -Experience with technical proposal activities including Technical Volume development, man-power estimation and BOE production.
