This is a Spring 2018 temporary internship. The CPAS (Capsule Parachute Assembly System) project is responsible for design, development, fabrication, qualification, and delivery of the parachute system to support the MPCV (Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle) test flights through Exploration Mission-2 (EM-2). Currently the team is in the qualification phase of the project. The\u00a0CPAS Engineer Intern will: Be hands on with creating, documenting, and maintaining of system and project requirements and verification planning for the CPA project. Provide Status on progress and issues and for support to the Project Lead\/Manager. Travel as needed with the team for hardware build-up and drop tests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education\/Experience\/Skills: Currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree towards. Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Completed at least 60 credit hours. Minimum of 2.8 GPA. Able to travel as needed. Able to work in a team environment. Preferences: Pursuing Aerospace Engineer degree. Experience with data analysis. He has 35 years of experience in the exhibition, marketing and distribution of American independent and international cinema in the U.S. He is perhaps best known as the founding film buyer for the Angelika Film Center in New York City which under his supervision (from opening day in 1989 until 1997) became the highest grossing art cinema in the country. He was the Managing Director and Film Buyer of the Paris Theatre from 1998 to 2009. At present, he programs over 50 movie theatre screens across the country.
