Job Description : Actively manages and strengthens Aeronautics' talent and leadership pipelines through talent assessment/identification, development, movement, and succession planning. Develops and facilitates talent review, succession planning, and talent development processes. Designs and manages career paths. Analyzes talent data to identify pipeline risks and strengths. Develops and executes talent risk mitigation plans and leverage talent pipeline strengths. Leads the sourcing and management of viable, representative succession plans within the career framework to ensure candidates are on plans that align with career aspirations, ultimate potential, and readiness. Enables achievement of talent development plans generated in talent review discussions including sponsorship, networking and other development activities that provide talent with the necessary visibility and executive exposure. Identifies talent for coaching, mentoring, and other talent development programs. Administers and interprets talent assessment tools. Develops and deploys change and communication plans for talent management activities.  Leads and/or participates in other initiatives as needed. Partners with Human Resources Business Partners and relevant Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COE) to deliver human resources programs and business outcome focused solutions. Drives lateral connectivity and collaboration within Human Resources and across the enterprise to develop and execute strategic solutions that address talent pipeline gaps/risks. Delivers data-driven talent solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible. Deliverables include: Design, development and implementation of talent management solutionsTalent and leadership pipelinesTalent assessment and planningCareer pathingTeam effectivenessCoaching and consultingBasic QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of the field/discipline of Human Resources practices, processes, and regulations Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Talent and Succession Planning, Career Pathing, and Career Development to deliver ready resources for the business.Demonstrated experience consulting with an assigned client organization on Human Resources, and talent management topics.Demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives, including developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying of milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/resultsDemonstrated experience delivering results for the business in partnership with Human Resource's Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and other organizations as needed.Demonstrated ability and experience coaching leaders and employees.Demonstrated ability and experience facilitating executives and groups to create solutions, resolve issues, and train others.Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders using multiple methods based on context.Demonstrated understanding of human capital analytics and key workforce metrics.Moderate to expert knowledge and experience with change management principles and methodology; preference for experience using Prosci methodology.Demonstrated ability to adapt to change.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics.Must demonstrate strong decision making and judgement, oral and written communication, and business acumen.Must demonstrate basic financial acumen.Demonstrated experience using relevant software tools/ solutions e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).Desired skillsAs a leading technology innovation company, Lockheed Martin's vast team works with partners around the world to bring proven performance to our customers' toughest challenges.
