Job TitleProduct Supp Spec IIJob DescriptionDefense Logistics requires a Product Support Specialist who will provide enhanced engineering support for tracking and managing Government Furnished Equipment.  The Specialist will manage the database for accurate accounting of the equipment for movements between locations, calibration, maintenance activities, shipments, and regular inventories.Specifically, the Product Support Specialist will provide the following:Data Collection  and Asset Tracking, and perform analysis to support various reports.. Collect, manage, track GFE / GFM, to/from various locations, following company policies and program plan/procedures,. Maintain accurate data in program GFE database.. Perform regular site inventories/audits. Resolve issues by performing research utilizing various databases.•Support self-audits, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits, company audits, and annual customer account reconciliation. Document metrics, lessons learned, and reports to enhance organizational effectiveness . Coordinate and participate in the annual GFE reconciliation audit with internal and customer personnel.Customer Interaction. Regular interaction with program personnel to perform daily activities.. Coordinate GFE/GFM data, movements, and shipments with Government representative / including validation of SUNFLOWER data.Program Reporting/Metrics· Provide monthly metrics to Product Support Lead to accurately reflect status and findings.Additional duties. Coordinate data for, and support contract close-out activities with cognizant program management.. Coordinate or support the GFE training activities.. Support proposals for asset-related data on contracts- Interpret and implement Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, company policy, and contract requirements and provide guidance, advice and training to program personnelProcess Improvement.
