Job TitleTech Intern HS & SeasonalJob DescriptionJob Description:This position is for a process engineering intern who will support the EW-IMC Front End Processes. Duties and Responsibilities:This position is for a process engineering intern who will support the EW-IMC factory. The intern will assist process engineers who provide sustaining engineering, process development and new process implementation by through hands-on problem solving, data analyses and application of engineering, and lean manufacturing principles to improve product flow and product yields. This position is to support first shift factory operations.Responsibilities may include: Supports the development of new processes and works with the process engineer to identify and implement changes in product flow through the application of lean manufacturing principles. Supports the process engineer with customer corrective action requests using 9 Step problem solving methodology. Works with the process engineer and production floor personnel to define and specify the requirement for assembly tooling, fixtures and equipment to support current manufacturing operations and recommend changes for production ramp-ups.Will learn how to apply Six Sigma tools to solve production problems and improve existing processes.
