Candidate will perform a technical security role as an Information System Security Risk Analyst / Classified Cybersecurity Analyst supporting multiple collateral programs in Ocala, FL. Duties include:
Performs self-inspections to measure regulatory compliance and conducts security education training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Performs weekly system auditing, media reviews, and hardware/software configuration management and system certification/decertification.
Assists with performing data integrity containment and performing investigations on information system related security violations and incidents.
Performs other associated duties as required and takes direction from senior security team members.
Promotes daily contact with program management, engineering staff, the Ocala classified cybersecurity manager, and other security and program personnel to resolve technical security related issues.
Some travel may be required.
Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. as a permanent resident.
This position requires applicant to obtain and maintain a final secret security clearance. Candidate must have a minimum of an interim secret clearance to start.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain 8570 certification, i.e. Security , CISSP within 6 months.
Experience working with classified information systems.
Ability to author system security plans, perform technical certifications, and maintain authorization approvals.
Must possess strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills.
Must be able to work with multiple customers and must be able to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have a working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Chapter 8 and the Defense Security Service Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) - Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements that apply to the authorization of information systems processing classified information as part of the NISP.
Must have knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), classified computer operations and experience with the technical configuration requirements for various operating systems.
Should have knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
Must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of system security plans.
Must be able to coordinate with other security disciplines to ensure all classified computing assets are operating in compliance with governing directives.
Must be able to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies and customers, taking direction from more senior analysts and management.
Able to communicate effectively and have excellent organizational skills.
Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Candidate must possess knowledge of IT processes.
Thorough understanding of DAAPM/RMF authorization requirements.
Prior ISSM or ISSO experience.
Familiarity with STIG Viewer and SCAP.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Linux/Solaris, and server management tools.
Knowledge of system / network administration and government/contractor network inter-connectivity.
IT background preferred.
