Come and experience your future!Foreign Assignment: This position will offer a deployment to Malatya AB, TurkeyF-35 Operational Site Training Operations Manager - Functional Management and Oversight of Training Operations personnel, to include Pilot CIPs and Simulator Technicians. Duties and personnel:• Lockheed Martin RMS Liaison with the customer for all the LM RMS training center on-site standup activities• Functional and performance management for the on-site Training System personnel.• IT maintenance of the Training System (TS) resources, responding to trouble calls, updating configuration based on received Modification Kits and perform preventative maintenance. • Oversees shift operations supporting up to 4 Pilot Training Devices operating approximately 40 hours of operation/week and an additional 4 hours of Preventative Maintenance/day. In addition, provides direct support for Modification Kit Installation and Service Simulator Evaluation events. • Logistic support of the operational site Full Mission Simulators, Shipping and Receiving activities, and incoming material for FMS Spares Equipment. • Oversees the tasking of the training personnel on site.• Oversees facility operations conducting, coordinating, and supporting government maintenance on Facility Systems and responding to site Trouble Calls.Serves as F-35 Contractor Instructor Pilot / Pilot SME. Supports military pilots' flight procedures in maintaining qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrade, and tactics training. Instructor will provide instruction using the Full Mission Simulator (FMS) and/or Deployable Mission Rehearsal Trainer (DMRT). The instructor will primarily operate Instructor Operating Station (IOS) and will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting pilot training and tactics development, as well as recommendations for courseware updates. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin team at dedicated training sites to fulfill F-35 training and continuation training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies, as directed.Deployment and continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the OJT required at Lockheed Martin's training locations prior to international assignment. This is not a telecommuting position. These locations may include but are not limited to: Luke AFB, AZ; Nellis AFB, NV, Hill AFB, UT; Eglin AFB, FL; Edwards AFB, CA; Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Yuma, AZ; Beaufort, SC.Relocation: Relocation and housing assistance is available for this exciting international assignment.Accompanied Status Available: Accompanied status means new hires may have qualifying dependents accompany them on their long-term overseas assignment.Desired Skills: Demonstrated experience managing, operating, and maintaining F-35 Pilot Training Devices. Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have a current or be able to obtain a final secret security clearance and a completed investigation within the last 6 years.Candidate must be a qualified/certified classroom and simulator instructor.Experience leading a small and growing team in a field operations setting. Demonstrated background with problem/incident management. Demonstrated background with hardware / software change management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work unsupervised towards program goals. Strong systems engineering background. Willingness to travel to support mission requirements.Candidate must have a minimum of 1000 hours Fighter Flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation fighter aircraft. Former Instructor Pilot (IP). Candidate must have prior experience in Military Pilot Academic and Simulator Training. Candidate must have operational experience with advanced sensor systems such as NVS, LANTIRN, Helmet Mounted Cuing, and the latest weapons inventory. Candidate must be familiar with current instructional techniques and delivery methods. Must have in-depth knowledge of military publications and an understanding of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft systems. Candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required. Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, strong oral & written communication abilities, solid ability to organize, and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.
