Description: The PM is responsible for all aspects of the program from momentum business development to program closeout. Responsible for all aspects of the Program, including the following:• Daily management of all aspects of his/her assigned Program, including all Projects assigned to that Program• Manage and make decisions regarding the financials and execution of the overall planning, direction, control, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned program• Deliver the product to the Customer according to the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements agreed to in the contract• Act as the primary interface between SAC, PMT members, the Customer, and/or partners.• Staff, organize, and motivate the workforce to accomplish Program goals• Ensure compliance to all ITC requirements and SAC policies and procedures• Approve all Program and Project requirements, Program organization and reporting structure, work statements, schedules, and risk management plans• Set long and short-term goals for the Program organization• Approve program processes and procedures to be implemented in the execution of the contract, such as the Program Management Plan (PMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Program Management Instructions (PMI)• Review and approve metrics to track Program health and provide visibility to senior executive management• With the PMT, approve and manage approved EACs and initiate as required updates to EACs with the support of Finance• Ensure that the Program Plans meet Customer requirements and are supportable by Company assets and personnel resources• Develop the staffing requirements to execute the Program in accordance with company standard procedures and standard work and communicates those needs to the appropriate departments as required• Coordinate with the PP&C Manager and Program Business Manager regarding business operations• Maintain and execute Program Plans in accordance with the Program schedule and budget. Utilize the appropriate tools to determine Program performance and any deviations from Program Plans. Take action to realign Program performance to the Plan when deviations exceed previously determined control thresholds• Provide Program status to upper management and the Customer at regular intervals• Coordinate Program reviews, oversight activities initiated by the Customer, and other efforts required to maintain Program support• Conduct production readiness reviews and oversee the transition to production for Development Programs• Manage any applicable licenses through the creation/implementation of Agreement Control Plans.• Ensure all PMT / Platform Team members are knowledgeable of ITC requirements by utilizing the ITC COS site, routine training sessions from either Core or ITC forward deployed personnel, and any related events held by the SAC.• May delegate authority via a PMI to the PMT/ Platform Team members to fulfill routine activities associated with a designated program, including customer and supplier interface• May delegate oversight responsibilities of day-to-day elements of the Program to the Deputy Project Manager(s) Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
