Profile

Description: This Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services position is for an engineering application infrastructure analyst to support the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business area. This individual will be responsible for developing, modifying, testing, deploying, and maintaining the basis of our PLM applications supporting RMS and other key partners. Day to day activities will include working with team members and internal customers on a wide array of application initiatives, projects, and tool suites, while maintaining a stable PLM application suite.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engineering applications project execution and sustainment

• Engineering tools operational support

• Functional and technical design

• Apply technical expertise to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions via automation and Infrastructure-as-code.

• Work within an Agile product team, taking objectives from the product owner, breaking them down into detailed increments, and delivering committed capability on-time.

• Implement OS Identity and Access Management strategies to ensure least privilege access and enterprise identity integration

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, communicating and documenting procedures, and recommending architectural changes when necessary.

• Ensure service compliance as directed by security team.

• Work under pressure, during outages, to debug and resolve environment issues.

• Develop standard solutions for high-availability and disaster recovery, backup/recovery, file services, and other OS related solutions.

• Vulnerability and compliance management

• Full time remote position - prefer location to be near a Lockheed Martin Facility

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

• 1-3 years Unix experience

• Scripting in Python

• Familiarity with networking and related concepts (Firewalls, isolans, switches and routers)

• Familiarity with Cyber Security concepts

Experience supporting business critical enterprise applications

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Dassault 3DX application installations

• AWS, AIX, Tomee, Tomcat, Shibboleth, Bash

• Tomee multiple instance environment with multiple CATALINA_BASES

• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements

• Familiarity with a wide variety engineering tools and processes

• Demonstrated ability to work across organization boundaries to leverage best practices and share assets

• Linux & AIX including file systems, process management, memory management

• Ability to capture key resource utilization metrics such as CPU, memory, disk usage.

• Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

• Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.

• Initiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledge.

• Ability to manage ambiguous or competing requirements, collaborating with project teams to align on solutions.

• Proficiency with Agile and DevSecOps tools and management principles.

• Experience operating in US Government regulated environments with strict compliance requirements desired.
