Description The Enterprise Service IT Solutions organization is seeking a Software Development Analyst\u00a0to support software tools and Linux based High Performance Computer (HPC) systems for the design of command, control and communication in both classified and unclassified environments for AS Sector in Melbourne, FL. The position will support and maintain software solution for the Strike program environment, and diagnose process and data issues on the suite of applications as they are applied to HPC. The incumbent will perform as the liaison function between application business functions and sector business process functional home rooms. The position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3, dependent upon the individuals experience and education. He\/she will research, design, develop, and\/or modify enterprise-wide systems and\/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Document testing and maintenance of system corrections. Roles and Responsibilities: \u2022 Works under general direction of manager and project \u2022 Independently determines and develops approach to solutions \u2022 Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contact \u2022 Requirements definition and planning \u2022 Server configuration consultation \u2022 Client PC consultation \u2022 Documentation of testing and maintenance of systems \u2022 License management \u2022 Trouble ticket resolution \u2022 Conformance to CMMI Level 3 processes Qualifications Basic Qualifications for the Level 2: \u2022 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science degree, or similar technical discipline; 0 years of experience with a Masters \u2022 Familiarity with Engineering application support, development and maintenance. \u2022 Proven experience programming in Fortran, C, C and ASP.NET. \u2022 Experience with supporting applications and users within a large enterprise. \u2022 Experience with desktop, client\/server and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution. \u2022 Ability to learn architecture Environment, and maintain code base primarily in scripts or Python. Basic Qualifications for the Level 3: \u2022 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science degree, or similar technical discipline; 3 years of experience with a Masters \u2022 Familiarity with Engineering application support, development and maintenance. \u2022 Proven experience programming in Fortran, C, C and ASP.NET. \u2022 Experience with supporting applications and users within a large enterprise. \u2022 Experience with desktop, client\/server and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution. \u2022 Ability to learn architecture of Environment, and maintain code base primarily in script or Python.
