Job Description : Responsible for leading the CH-53K Multi-Year 1 Business Acquisition Team (BAT) and proposal process. CH-53K Multi-Year 1 is planned to be one of the biggest contractual opportunities in the Sikorsky\/RMS portfolio - with a total aircraft buy of 113 aircraft and a value of nearly $10B. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the integrated BAT as it works to define, propose, negotiate and win CH-53K MY-1. Specific duties include: managing the operational aspects of the project and serving as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management; oversight of the status of the project and budget; schedule management and preparation and presentation of status reports to senior SAC, RMS and customer audiences; assessment and resolution of project issues to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives; insuring the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients; interface with U.S. Government Business Office (USGBO) and Finance to develop proposal budgets; with Engineering lead, develop concise SOWs with focus on mitigating risk; with Contracts lead, coordinate fact-finding responses and negotiation\u00a0strategies to achieve positive settlement objectives; assist the Senior Manager Business Development in implementing and managing metrics to ensure proposal execution to plan. Basic Qualifications 7 years experience with leadership qualities in business acquisition, customer interface, and experience working with proposals and contracts organizations. Desired skills Must be able to work independently, have exceptional communication skills, ability to develop executive level briefings and represent the program at key interface meetings.
