Job Description :
This position aligns with the Engine Management Group (EMG) reporting to the Program Manager. The successful candidate will act as lead for the EMG in execution of engine schedules and deliveries. Responsible for development of engine removal, induction and delivery schedule for both field and in house. Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. This position will oversee engine fleet management and coordinate master schedule with customer counterparts, both Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Air Logistics Center (ALC) program personnel, in the execution of Program activities. Responsible for development, coordination of functional reports and performance metrics. Work in a collaborative and effective manner with all Functional Organizations, Sub-contractors and other associate contractors. Ensures compliance with military customer, company, and program procedures relative to engine maintenance, repair, and modifications. Supports and provides input to Program Management reviews. Responsibilities will also include Tech Order Distribution Officer (TODO) support, FAA FAR 145 local designee, and coordination with Aero Finance and Business Operations on engine/parts processing.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Must have at least 10 years engine/aircraft maintenance management experience.
- Background in maintenance planning and organization
- Experience in a military engine maintenance, repair and overhaul facility
- Microsoft Project experience
- A&P license
The following skills are desired but not required:
Prior military service at multiple levels of maintenance, logistics, and support
Experience with US Air Force depot planning and operations
Program experience dealing with Fleet issues and Sustainment
Experience dealing with military/government customers
Familiarity with maintenance production processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead experience
SAP system input experience
Strong organizational skills.
