The position will be located in Saint Augustine, FL.This person will be accountable for offsite tool fabrication & material procurement, tooling support, tool control & accountability, estimating and proposals for tooling operations, and all special tooling projects for the St. Augustine site. Guiding manufacturing engineers and analysts to ensure processes and procedures are maintained and in compliance within regulations. Other duties associated with this tool engineering manager position include: Oversee and provide accountability for authoring, managing and closing Tooling Statements of work Provide technical supplier oversight for offsite tool fabrication Responsible to manage organizational material purchases utilizing the iBuy system Provide organizational metrics (Quality, cost, schedule) Support and assist Quality/Property/DCMA in annual audit briefings, conduct NGC/DCMA contractor self-assessment audits Manage departmental performance to established direct & indirect budgets Maintain departmental compliance within established policies and procedures Manage all estimates and proposals that are requested of Saint Augustine Center of Excellence Tooling operations Develop and maintain an engaged, talented workforce through coaching, training, and mentorshipQualifications:Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 5 years of tool engineering experience. Experience of tool fabrication and material procurement are required. Candidates should also have experience in project management and Microsoft Office tools.
