Job Description :
Candidate will be designated as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) supporting the Stratford Advanced Capabilities Programs aligned with Lockheed Martin RMS common standards. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Candidate will interpret government security directives to determine technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements and prepare written instructions to facilitate proper security implementation. Ensure all relevant documentation is in place and followed to obtain and retain Authority to Operate (ATO). Write, implement and manage SAP Systems through the Risk Management Framework processes to include System Security Plans (SSP), Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) per NISPOM/ JSIG / SAP security manuals. Assist with providing security oversight for Standalones, LANs and WANs to include performing vulnerability assessments and assisting with the development of network architectures. Conduct IA security education training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Assist the ISSM in performing IA self-inspections to measure regulatory compliance. Perform weekly system auditing, media reviews, hardware/software configuration management, certification/decertification of systems and developing hardware and software approval letters for government approval. Assist with performing data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents. Interface with internal/external customers to identify requirements and provide problem resolution. Assist with publication and maintenance of security directives, policies and procedures. Perform other associated duties as required. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and may require occasional travel.
- Must have certification as directed in DoD 8570.01M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program and its replacement based on DoDD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management (i.e.: Security , CISSP, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Information Assurance Security
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the SAP Security Manuals, JSIG, or other similar government manuals
- Should possess strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills
- Must possess a TOP SECRET/SSBI security clearance conducted within the last five years and access eligibility for Special Access Programs
- COMSEC experience
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification
- Familiarity with NSA type 1 encryption
